Data Center Opposition on the Move! Find out what you can do.

Meet and Greet 6:30 PM Presentation 7:00 PM
This membership meeting is the one to attend to find out how opposition to Data Centers in New Mexico is building. We will have the following five prominent speakers related to this fight.
  • State Representative Angelica Rubio regarding legislation supporting a state-wide moratorium on data centers.
  • Candidate Daisy Maldonado, running for a seat on the Doña Ana County Commission which initially gave full-speed ahead to Jupiter followed by massive public protest.
  • Candidate Cari Powell running for a seat on the Socorro County Commission, where public outrage against Data Centers halted a proposed center in that county.
  • Dave Mooney running for House Representative in District 38 which covers Doña Ana, Sierra & Socorro Counties against incumbent Republican Rebecca Dow.
  • Our own Carl Peterson, engineer, climate activist and all-around good guy.
