    • Environmental Justice Caucus General Membership Meeting6:30 pm - 8:30 pmAll-Member Meetings
       Beginning January 7, General Membership meetings will be on the  1st Wednesday of the month for the year 2026.       6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. 
      Project Jupiter and Project Ranger        The membership meeting begins with a meet and greet and speakers at 7PM January 7. We have two great speakers: Daisy Maldonado and Frank Smith. At our next membership meeting, we will welcome Daisy Maldonado, who has been one of the plaintiffs in a case against Dona Ana County Commission in regard to Project Jupiter. It is important that environmentalists in New Mexico understand the huge cost that such a project will have on our environment for the entire state. The County Commission did not follow public hearing requirements before approving this monster project.
      We will also be joined by Frank Smith, chair of the Veterans and Military Families Caucus of the DPNM. He will explain the detrimental effects of Project Ranger which is to be situated in Sandoval County.
